Batteries

An e-cigarette can make vapor by heating a liquid in the tank. This requires energy, which is why electric cigarettes work with batteries. There is plenty of choice in this, yet you cannot simply place a standard battery in every e-cigarette. In fact, there are also models with a built-in battery that you cannot replace at all.
Battery
capacity The capacity of batteries for e-cigarettes is indicated in mAh, so milliamperes. A battery with more capacity will last longer on a charge than a battery with less power in the same device. This does not automatically mean that a smaller capacity battery will be empty faster in all cases. The resistance of the coil is also a factor. If you steam at lower resistances, more power will be used. The MTL dampers can therefore suffice with a limited battery capacity. For DTL or Sub-Ohm fumes you better opt for more mAh.
Buy standard batteries
The "standard" e-cigarette battery is the IMR / INR 18650 Unprotected. The number represents the dimensions. In this case it concerns a diameter of 18 mm and a length of 35 mm. Many advanced dampers use this model. But always check the connection of your device, and pay attention to the type designation in the store. Be careful with unbranded batteries of unknown origin, which can lead to dangerous situations. Always buy replacement batteries through a reputable channel.
ICR and IMR battery
In addition to capacity, a distinction can also be made between Lithium Ion Cobalt Round (ICR) and Lithium Ion Manganese (or Nickel) Round (INR). With ICR the emphasis is on a low power supply for a longer period, with IMR the emphasis is on a high power supply for a short period. That is the difference between MTl and DTL vapors. Not all types are equipped with an overvoltage protection.
